There have been other films that have been seamlessly assembled and slickly produced that don't have the inventive action and suspense this film generates. The cops seem to buy this and leave and he's able to go back and steal the necklace just in the nick of time before…After breaking quarantine to spend the night with Martha Vickers, Dan Duryea’s character is able to die a happy man.Low key, non glammed up, bombshell Jayne Mansfield was something else.Dan Duryea does great work here.
