Fairmont State offers a variety of resources to help you succeed and thrive during your personal academic journey. Its not perfect, but I don't think I would enjoy it any other way. The Falcon Center (although mediocre compared to the majority) is a nice addition. The town is terrible. I absolutely hate fairmont. Professors are cool for the most part. The teachers are outstanding, my department feels like family. The food is pretty good for cafeteria food and there are a lot of options. The classes are like high school in size, some are bigger and have 50-60, most professors are chill, some are absolutely horrible.

DELIVERY NOTICE. The campus is alright, very small so not much walking. Definitely a life and game changer. Roads suck in the winter and definitely need some work. The Business Program is an accredited program that offers a lot of opportunities to students that set them up to get a job after school or pursue a further education in a potential MBA program. Football games suck, parties suck, campus is pretty, and everyone keeps to their high school clicks mostly.
I am truly grateful for this school. I love FSU. I came here after a life altering event happened and I needed to leave my hometown for a while to figure things out. Dont be excited about clubs, dont take the first year seminar class. Fairmont is a great school and yet is surprisingly underrated.
Many solid programs to choose from. Unless youre living on campus they could care less about you.

Overall a great university with a very nice recreation center and a great value. (No night classes, off campus classes, etc.) Take the next step! Education here is also great and they really help students get internships. The internet sucks and you're lucky if you find one helpful person, especially in Turley. Job Openings.
22 Classes aren't extremely hard to pass and you don't get lost in the shuffle. This school has made such a great impact on my life. Faculty care about students. Fairmont is my home. The food isnt terrible but its the same thing every day. You can still reserve a rental and we will deliver the order ASAP, but please note your delivery could take up to two weeks following the the completion of residential move-ins.
