A 14-year-old video enthusiast is so caught up in film fantasy that he can no longer relate to the real world, to such an extent that he commits murder and records an on-camera confession for his parents.

Code Unknown feels incredibly real and authentic, it's like watching little documentaries on television with Haneke having the remote control and is zapping through different channels as the film abruptly cuts mid-conversation or mid-action. Love has a language all its own.
Separate lives intersect for the one moment, around the pastry bag, and all are altered. It's devoid of melodrama and resolution, and just mirrors daily life with many scenes just being one unbiased long take.
