The grass on the meadows is cut one more time and the trees hang heavy with fruit ready for harvest.
Beautiful photos!I’ve been wanting to visit Hallstatt for a while now after seeing lots of iconic photos of it next to the lake – but your autumn pics make me REALLY want to go, and at the same time of year!!
Autumn is an excellent time of the year to discover Tirol. Your pictures are amazing..may i know exactly which month to visit hallstatt in order to see the blooming autumn leaves? The greatest amount of precipitation falls in the Alpine region and in intermountain plains there are slightly smaller amount of falls.
It’s just too perfect…I must go.
Great read and photos! It looks so magical. Austrian cemeteries are always so beautiful and this one reminded me of another cemetery I walked through inJust below the church and to the left is a great place for a photo op with the town as a backdrop. Thanks again for sharing!Hallstatt is so pretty!!! Nature fade, finally bestowing multicolored swirl of red, crimson, yellow, gold colors. September despite the fact that evening starts a few hours earlier, often spoiling pleasant sunshine.

Halstatt has been on my wish list for a few years, since I first saw the iconic waterfront photo. It offered a great view of the Evangelical church as well as many of the houses below. My favorite part of the afternoon came when we were waiting for the boat to come to take us back across the lake when I spotted one lone swan swimming near many of the houses and I captured one of my favorite pictures while he was ruffling his feathers. We did not need more than 4 hours to see the whole town. Temperature does not drop far below zero. It’ll keep the chill at bay while not being too heavy. Those fall colors are fabulous. Hallstatt looks like it’s definitely a place to explore in fall. This is the national holiday with the day off for most workers.Summer in Austria is mild. Such beautiful autumnal oranges, reds, and yellows in all of your photos!
The ski slopes in New South Wales are in the Snowy Mountains southwest of Canberra, while the Alpine region of Victoria's High Country is … I’ve visited it too:) #citytrippingSuch a pretty town! Average temperatures don’t rise above 25 °C (77 °F).
It’s hard to believe that such a dreamy town could possibly even exist and you might have to shake your head in disbelief just to make sure it’s not a film set! Catholicism is very common in the country and its residents diligently observe all the traditions prescribed by canon.
It is a simple church and much of the woodwork inside is still the original. The church is surrounded by a cemetery so beautiful, it was almost impossible to think that it actually is one.
